Founder & Managing Partner
David Holmes is the Founder of Brittany Financial and brings more
than 15 years of experience in corporate finance and investor
relations, with a focus on healthcare, including life science tools,
diagnostics, and biotechnology. He advises companies on investor
relations strategy, capital markets positioning, and strategic
communications designed to support growth, financing initiatives,
and long-term shareholder engagement.
Over the
past decade, David has designed and executed comprehensive investor
relations and capital advisory programs for companies across
oncology, molecular diagnostics, and liquid biopsy. His experience
spans corporate positioning, investor targeting, and capital markets
strategy for both public and private companies navigating complex
financing and commercialization milestones.
Prior to
founding Brittany Financial, David served as Managing Director
within the Diagnostics & Life Science Tools practice at The
Gilmartin Group in New York. Before joining Gilmartin, he was a
Director at LifeSci Advisors where he worked with public and private
companies across the medtech, diagnostics, and life science tools
sectors.
Earlier in his career, David led investor
relations initiatives at Rover Diagnostics and Ascenda BioSciences
(formerly Provista Diagnostics), where he oversaw corporate
messaging, investor communications, and capital markets strategy.
David
began his career in the Corporate & Investment Banking division
of BNP Paribas working in Structured Credit and Capital Markets.
During this time he originated and executed transactions ranging
from $100 million to $2 billion across multiple sectors.
He
holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Lawrence University
with concentrations in Econometrics and Modern Game Theory.
